Premise #1: Our personal life experience is statistically non-representative of the entirety of human life experience.
… our world is changing at a pace unphantomed by prophets, historians, and scientists alike. Our tools and technologies are not simply making our life easier. They are fundamentally transforming who we are and how we behave.
If the hardest thing to change in a company is its staff, it can only be done by a leader worth following. Motivating people through rewards and punishments only changes a specific behaviour for a specific time (while stimulant is present). Inspiring people creates a long-lasting change right in the person (regardless if stimuli is present).
